Barbara Crampton (born December 27, 1958) is an American actress and producer. She began her career in the 1980s in television soap operas before starring in horror and thriller films. In 2024, Crampton was inducted into the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards' Monster Kid Hall of Fame.
In campo cinematografico, ha esordito nel film di Brian De Palma del 1984 Omicidio a luci rosse ( Body Double) e ha lavorato, inoltre e principalmente, nell' horror Re-Animator (1985), in From Beyond - Terrore dall'ignoto (1986) e in numerosi altri film.
Barbara achieved enduring cult popularity as college coed Megan Halsey in Stuart Gordon's Re-Animator (1985) and, after making a splash in the horror genre, successively starred in From Beyond (1986), Chopping Mall (1986), Puppet Master (1989), and Castle Freak (1995), among others.
