Biografia. Nata a Chicago nel 1909, iniziò a studiare danza fin dalla tenera età. Nel 1921 si trasferì presso lo zio, il produttore Carl Laemmle, fondatore della Universal Pictures [2]. Esordì sul grande schermo interpretando una ballerina nel leggendario film Il fantasma dell'opera (1925) di Rupert Julian.
Rebekah Isabelle Laemmle (October 20, 1909 – June 12, 2014), known professionally as Carla Laemmle, was an American actress and dancer, and the niece of Universal Pictures studio founder Carl Laemmle. As an actress/dancer, she is known primarily for her roles in The Phantom of the Opera (1925) and Dracula (1931).
