Joe Santos (born Joseph John Minieri Jr.; June 9, 1931 – March 18, 2016) was an American film and television actor, best known as Sgt. Dennis Becker (later Lieutenant), the friend of James Garner's character on the NBC crime drama The Rockford Files.
Joe Santos was a Brooklyn-born character actor of Italian descent who appeared in films, TV shows, and plays. He is best known for his role as Lt. Dennis Becker on The Rockford Files, for which he earned an Emmy nomination, and as Angelo Garepe on The Sopranos.
