Wright Thornburgh King (January 11, 1923 – November 25, 2018) was an American stage, film and television actor whose career lasted for over forty years. He is best known for playing Jason Nichols in the television series Wanted Dead or Alive (1958–1961).
Biografia. Wright King nacque a Okmulgee, in Oklahoma, l'11 gennaio 1923. Nei primi anni 40 studiò alla St. Louis School of Theatre. Partecipò alla seconda guerra mondiale nella marina statunitense nel sud del Pacifico.
Wright King. Prolific supporting actor, arguably best known for his two guest appearances on Rod Serling 's The Twilight Zone (1959). In one of his later roles he played the chimpanzee veterinarian Dr. Galen in Planet of the Apes (1968) which was also co-scripted by Serling.

Wright King, whose character received a kiss from Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire during its original Broadway run, its first national tour and in the classic Marlon Brando - Vivien Leigh film, has died. He was 95. King died Nov. 25 in the Woodland Hills area, family spokesman Jared Stine told The Hollywood Reporter.
