Linda Stirling (born Louise Schultz; October 11, 1921 – July 20, 1997) was an American showgirl, model, and actress. In her later years, she had a second career as a college English professor for more than two decades. She is most famous for her roles in movie serials.

9 ago 1997 · Linda Stirling, who was known as “the Serial Queen” for her stardom in the weekly cliffhanger adventure shorts that enticed young moviegoers to theaters in the 1940s and early 1950s, has died.
Stirling was the only Republic serial queen to star in more than three chapterplays, and this multiplicity of credits, along with her beauty and talent, made her the most famous of the sound chapterplays’ heroines. Linda Stirling was born Louise Schultz in Long Beach, California.
