Emil Minty (born 1972) is an Australian former child actor and jeweller. Career. Minty played The Feral Kid, a feral child in the 1981 film Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior. As an actor, he had no lines in the film. After Mad Max 2, he had minor parts in Fluteman (1982) and in The Winds of Jarrah (1983).

Minty gave up acting after he finished high school, and he hasn't starred in anything since. He now has two kids and has worked as a jeweller in Sydney for 30 years. He says that he and his wife "live life like most ordinary families".
