Otto Wilhelm Fischer (German: O. W. Fischer, pronounced [oː veː ˈfɪʃɐ] ⓘ; 1 April 1915 – 29 January 2004) was an Austrian film and theatre actor, a leading man of West German cinema during the Wirtschaftswunder era of the 1950s and 1960s.
O. W. Fischer (* 1. April 1915 als Otto Wilhelm Fischer in Klosterneuburg, Niederösterreich, Österreich-Ungarn; † 29. Jänner 2004 in Lugano, Schweiz) war ein österreichischer Schauspieler, der von Anfang der 1950er- bis Mitte der 1960er-Jahre zu den größten Stars des deutschsprachigen Kinos zählte.

In the following years, Fischer became the highest paid actor in the German cinema of the 1950s alongside Curd Jürgens. Fischer also formed the most appealing movie couples with Maria Schell, and, later on, with Ruth Leuwerik.
