Stephen Robert Blass (born April 18, 1942) is an American former professional baseball player and television sports color commentator. He played his entire career in Major League Baseball as a right-handed pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1964 and from 1966 through 1974 .

Steve Blass was a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1964 to 1973. He won 19 games in 1972 and was an All-Star in 1971, but also suffered from a mysterious arm injury that ended his career.
