Edward Nathan George Jr. (born September 24, 1973) is an American football coach and former player who is the current head football coach at Tennessee State University. He played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, primarily for the Houston / Tennessee Oilers / Titans franchise.

28 nov 2023 · Former Tennessee Titans running back Eddie George, now the coach at Tennessee State, was named one of 25 modern-era semifinalists Tuesday for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2024.
George, who just finished his third season as the Head Coach at Tennessee State and led the Tigers to a 6-5 season, was first named a semifinalist in 2022. The 25 semifinalists will be reduced again — to 15 finalists — before the final voting process for the Class of 2024.
