Kan Otake (大竹 寛, Ōtake Kan, born May 21, 1983) is a Japanese former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for 19 seasons for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp and Yomiuri Giants .

22 ott 2021 · According to interviews with the people concerned, pitcher Kan Otake, a veteran of professional baseball giants, will retire from active duty only this season. In his 20th year as a professional pitcher, 38-year-old pitcher Otake joined Hiroshima in 2002 from Urawa Gakuin in the first draft.
Kan was used primarily in relief in 2004, going 6-5 with 17 saves, a 3.18 ERA, .226 opponent average and 91 whiffs in 82 innings. He was 4th in the Central League in saves behind Ryota Igarashi, Hitoki Iwase and Kazuhiro Sasaki.
