Midori Itō ((伊藤みどり?, Itō Midori); Nagoya, 13 agosto 1969) è un'ex pattinatrice artistica su ghiaccio giapponese. Dotata di grandissima potenza, è stata la prima donna a eseguire il triplo axel e una combinazione di salti tripli in una competizione ufficiale.

After faltering in her first attempt, Japan’s Midori Ito became the first woman to land a triple axel at the Olympic Winter Games.
In 1989, Midori Ito became the first figure skater outside of Europe and North America to become World Champion. Her skating was characterized by powerful jumps, and in 1988 she became the first woman to land a triple Axel in competition.
