Samuel Bernard, comte de Coubert , né à Sancerre le 29 octobre [1] ou le 28 novembre 1651 [2] et mort le 18 janvier 1739, est un financier français. Issu d'une famille protestante, il débute comme marchand de drap à Paris.

Samuel Bernard was a painter and an engraver who taught at the Academy and belonged to the group of Protestant artists in the XVIIth century. He recanted after the Revocation and was buried by the clergy of Saint-Sulpice.
