Pro Football Hall of Fame. Allen Davis (July 4, 1929 – October 8, 2011) was an American football coach and executive. He was the principal owner and general manager (officially titled managing general partner) [1] of the National Football League (NFL) Oakland Raiders for 39 years, from 1972 until his death in 2011.
