Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach è stato un compositore, organista e clavicembalista tedesco, fu il quinto e più famoso dei venti figli del celebre compositore Johann Sebastian Bach.
Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach (8 March 1714 – 14 December 1788), also formerly spelled Karl Philipp Emmanuel Bach, and commonly abbreviated C. P. E. Bach, was a German Classical period composer and musician, the fifth child and second surviving son of Johann Sebastian Bach and Maria Barbara Bach.
Musicista, detto il Bach di Berlino o di Amburgo (Weimar 1714 - Amburgo 1788). Figlio di J. Sebastian, ne fu anche allievo. Nel 1738 andò a Berlino, e divenne (1740) accompagnatore al cembalo di Federico il Grande.
