William Carver is a main character and an antagonist, as well as a survivor of the outbreak in Telltale 's The Walking Dead. William is a ruthless, brutal, violent, tyrannical, and insane leader of a community built around an abandoned Howe's Hardware. He served as the primary antagonist of the first half of Season 2 .
William "News" Carver (September 12, 1868 – April 2, 1901) was an American outlaw and a member of Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch during the closing years of the American Old West. His nickname "News" was given to him because he enjoyed seeing his name in newspaper stories of his gang's exploits.
