Robert Ewing Younger (October 29, 1853 – September 16, 1889) was an American criminal and outlaw, the younger brother of Cole, Jim and John Younger. He was a member of the James–Younger Gang. He stood six feet, two inches tall and had deep blue eyes, muscular arms, and a thick neck.
When I look at a tree, I cannot forget the invisibles – the ants, the water system inside the tree, the birds, the insects, and other animals who depend on the tree for shelter and food. I try to make the invisibles felt. I have a deep empathy with nature, and when I am photographing her I feel a certain communion. I feel in love.

4 apr 2018 · The metric for success in my photography is NOT making a good picture. In fact, that may be the least of it. What I’ve been discovering these last 10-15 years is that it’s far more about being present, about observing, about being a part of something much bigger than just me and my camera and my skills.
