Václav Vorlíček (3. června 1930 Praha – 5. února 2019 Praha) byl český filmový režisér a scenárista. Jeho nejčastějším spolupracovníkem byl spisovatel a scenárista Miloš Macourek.
Václav Vorlíček (3 June 1930 – 5 February 2019) was a Czech film director. He studied filmmaking at FAMU from 1951 to 1956, and began directing feature films since the early 1960s. His filmography includes several comedies made in collaboration with screenwriter Miloš Macourek.

8 feb 2019 · Václav Vorlíček, director of one of the most iconic Czech films ever made and known as the ‘master of the Czech fairy tale’, passed away in Prague earlier this week. He was 88. Vorlíček was born in the Czech capital in 1930, and would go on to study directing at Prague film academy FAMU in the early 1950s.
