That six people before me voted high-ratings for this long-unseen PBS broadcast from the '60s indicates that a few other people enjoyed it as I did.
Early PBS telefilm adaptation of a Maxwell Anderson play from the 30s. Orson Bean plays mild mannered inventor Stephen who allows his employers to take advantage of him. His wife (Joan Lorring) is sick of scraping by in their middle age.
