He is told by the agency that the telepathy is a side effect of Widmann's Disease, and that he will become insane in time and eventually die from the illness.
The Speed Of Thought is a sci-fi thriller about a group of individuals called Scopers who work with the NSA in order to assist the government. Scopers are telepaths that will die at a young age due to their powers. However, a woman comes into our protagonists life that may prove he is being lied to by his NSA handlers. Sounds interesting right?
