Toâ is a 1949 French comedy film directed by Sacha Guitry and starring Guitry, Lana Marconi and Mireille Perrey. It is an adaptation of Guitry's own play of the same title. Location shooting took place around the Théâtre du Gymnase in Paris. The film's sets were designed by the art director Nersès Bartau.
Toâ is about the love life of a playwright who is not quite sure where real life begins and ends.

Film Synopsis. A fter a violent domestic row, Ecaterina leaves her lover, the playwright and actor Michel Desnoyer. Shortly afterwards, Michel is visited by his sister Françoise and her husband Fernand, who have returned after a long stay in the United States.
Les Films Minerva. Production year 1949. Synopsis. When his jealous mistress leaves him, playwright Michel Desnoyers finds an emotional outlet for his disappointment by writing a play about the situation. On opening night, Desnoyer's ex-lover sits in the audience and disrupts the proceedings.
