Goodbye Again (released in Europe as Aimez-vous Brahms?) is a 1961 American-French romantic drama film produced and directed by Anatole Litvak. The screenplay was written by Samuel A. Taylor, based on the novel Aimez-vous Brahms? by Françoise Sagan.
Goodbye Again marks that rare combination of a truly great motion picture, and a musical score of equal magnitude. Starring Ingrid Bergman, Tony Perkins and Yves Montand, the film is one of tremendous dramatic content brilliantly performed by a superb cast, magnificently directed by Anatole Litvak, and photographed amid the beauty that is Paris.
The Very Best Of Goodbye Again is accompanied by a series of illuminating interviews from producer Shaun O'Riordan that gives something of an insight into how the shows were made and the state of mind of the stars at the time. He paints a picture of perfectionist Dudley Moore being frustrated by Peter Cook, who took a more relaxed view.
