The Brides in the Bath is a 2003 television film by Yorkshire Television for ITV, based on the life and trial of British serial killer and bigamist George Joseph Smith, the "Brides in the Bath Murderer". Martin Kemp plays the role of Smith, and Richard Griffiths plays barrister Sir Edward Marshall-Hall.

There was also The Brides in the Bath (2003), a TV film made by Yorkshire Television, starring Martin Kemp as George Smith and the play Tryst by Karoline Leach, first produced in New York in 2006, starring Maxwell Caulfield and Amelia Campbell.
For dramatic purposes the film alters the story somewhat. It has two of the wives meeting up at the trial; Caroline Thornhill, his only legal wife, who fled to Canada in 1903 after giving evidence against Smith in an earlier case, and the loyal Edith, who is left at the end of the film standing in a bit of a daze.
