For the good things about Savage Spirit the concept is good, the spirit while not seen much looks better than average, the killings and gore are decent and not too cheap and predictable and some scenes did make me jump.

22 gen 2013 · SAVAGE SPIRIT is a very good micro-budget film with plenty of heart and gore. The film is loaded with attractive women in bikinis, but it’s not a skin-flick, which so many ‘horror’ films tend to be. The hot chicks are just icing on the cake. The cake is a killer zombie ghost with an axe.

Sauvage is best known for his 1989-2023 feature documentary, Weapons of the Spirit, which tells the story of what the film calls a "conspiracy of goodness": how a Christian mountain community in Nazi-occupied France took in and saved five thousand Jews, including Sauvage and his parents.
