Lars Von Trier stravolge il tradizionale film americano sfregiandolo con le sue stesse armi. E rivela, in perfetto stile made in Usa, tutti i limiti del sogno americano, che premia solo chi è disposto a tutto, anche a cambiare se stesso e gli altri per raggiungere i propri scopi.
