Should a Wife Forgive? plot. Impulsive man-eater La Belle Rose plans to steal Jack Holmes away from his wife Mary. Jack wastes his very last penny on her, while his wife Mary, meanwhile, is left in dire need. When La Belle Rose is ostensibly murdered by a jealous suitor, suspicion falls on Jack.
