5/10. Very ordinary made-for-tv courtroom drama. =G= 25 September 2001. "The Killing Yard" tells of an elder and ailing defense attorney (Alda) who wages a crusade for and bonds with an Attica inmate wrongfully accused of a double homicide.
Protesting the dreadful conditions at the state penitentiary, 1200 inmates -- mostly African-American -- took control of Prison Yard D. After a half a week negotiating with the prisoners, the police burst into the jail with guns ablaze.
