But then, one day, she was called up for jury service on a criminal case. The case to be tried were the murders of two men involved in Vancouver’s drug scene. There were six men in the dock.
Based on the true story of Gillian Guess, a juror who had a romantic relationship with Peter Gill, the defendant in a gang-related murder, during the 1995 trial. Though Gill was acquitted of murder, both he and Guess served time for obstruction of justice.
