Renn McDonnell Hawkey (born March 29, 1974) is an American musician, songwriter, film producer, and occasional actor. He played the synthesizer for the metal band Deadsy , performing on their self-titled debut album (1996) and subsequent releases Commencement (2002) and Phantasmagore (2006).

Renn Hawkey is a musician and film producer who married actress Vera Farmiga in 2008. He was a member of the band Deadsy and produced his wife's directorial debut Higher Ground.
He later sent a Juno 106 keyboard to his longtime friend from prep school Renn Hawkey (Dr. Nner) as an invitation to join the band. The three members evolved their sound in the studio and sought out a record deal out of, among other things, "adolescent necessity". Sire Records (1996–1999)
