Whit Dickey (born May 28, 1954) is an American drummer. He has recorded albums with David S. Ware and Matthew Shipp. [1] [2] Biography [ edit] His first album as a leader was Transonic, in 1998. [1] . Two years later, Wobbly Rail issued his Big Top. [1] .

25 apr 2022 · Drummer Whit Dickey emerged on the Avant Garde, free jazz scene in the early 1990’s, and kept busy playing behind David S. Ware, Matthew Shipp, Ivo Perelman, and Rob Brown. He began recording as a leader at the end of that decade. Two years ago he launched a new label: TAO Forms.
