Arnold Rüütel è un politico estone, presidente dell'Estonia dall'8 ottobre 2001 al 9 ottobre 2006. È stato il secondo presidente dell'Estonia da quando il Paese riconquistò l'indipendenza, nel 1991.
Arnold Rüütel is an Estonian politician who served as the third President of Estonia from 2001 to 2006. He was also the last chairman of the Estonian SSR Supreme Soviet and the first chairman of the Supreme Council after the restoration of independence in 1991.
Arnold Rüütel (sündinud 10. mail 1928 Laimjala vallas Pahavalla külas) on Eesti poliitik ja põllumajandusteadlane, Eesti president aastatel 2001–2006. Nõukogude ajal oli ta EKP Keskkomitee sekretär ja Eesti NSV Ülemnõukogu Presiidiumi esimees ning NSV Liidu Ülemnõukogu Presiidiumi esimehe asetäitja.
