Yang Hucheng (traditional Chinese: 楊虎城; simplified Chinese: 杨虎城; pinyin: Yáng Hǔchéng; Wade–Giles: Yang Hu-ch'eng) (26 November 1893 – 6 September 1949) was a Chinese general during the Warlord Era of Republican China and Kuomintang general during the Chinese Civil War.
Yang Hucheng (楊虎城 T, 杨虎城 S, Yáng Hǔchéng P, Yang Hu-ch'eng W) (Contea di Pucheng, 26 novembre 1893 – Chongqing, 6 settembre 1949) è stato un generale cinese durante il periodo dei signori della guerra, della Repubblica di Cina e del Kuomintang, durante la guerra civile cinese.
Having failed to persuade Chiang Kai-shek to abandon war with the communists and instead unite to fight Japan, Zhang Xueliang and Yang Hucheng finally opted for force and captured Chiang in the Xi'an Incident, not releasing him until he had agreed to fight Japan alongside the CCP.
Yang Hucheng, however, was arrested and eventually executed, while the leaders of the Anti-Japanese Comrade Society defected to the Red Army. Chang was kept under house arrest for over 50 years before emigrating to Hawaii in 1993.
