The Hon. Michael C. Kerr was born near Titusville, Pennsylvania, on March 15th, 1827, his father being a native of Ireland. He was mainly a self-educated man, and for some time supported himselfby teaching. In 1854, he was chosen City Attorney, and in 1855, Prosecuting Attorney for the county.
