Ion Antonescu (Pitești, 15 giugno 1882 – Jilava, 1º giugno 1946) è stato un generale, politico e criminale di guerra rumeno. Fu Primo ministro e Conducător (" condottiero " o " duce " in rumeno ) della Romania durante la seconda guerra mondiale dal 4 settembre 1940 al 23 agosto 1944.

Ion Antonescu (born June 15, 1882, Pitești, Rom.—died June 1, 1946, near Jilava) was a Romanian marshal and statesman who became dictator of the pro-German government during World War II. After World War I, Antonescu served as military attaché in Paris and in London and, in 1934, as chief of the Romanian general staff.
