Herschel Feibel Grynszpan (in tedesco anche: Hermann Grünspan; in yiddish: הערשל פײַבל גרינשפּאן; Hannover, 28 marzo 1921 – ...) è stato un rifugiato ebreo polacco che il 7 novembre 1938, appena diciassettenne, uccise a Parigi il diplomatico Ernst vom Rath.

November 1938, Herschel Grynszpan under arrest in Paris, France. After learning that his family, along with thousands of Jews of Polish origin in Germany, had been deported to the German-Polish border town of Zbaszyn, Herschel Grynszpan decided to assassinate a German official in protest.

The event provided the Nazi establishment with an occasion for Knstallnacht, a brutal pogrom launched against Jews and Jewish institutions inside the territory of the Third Reich on the night of 9–10 November 1938.
