Maximilian Fretter-Pico (6 February 1892 – 4 April 1984) was a German general during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves of Nazi Germany. A veteran of WWI, he would serve in the Battle of France, in the Eastern Front and in Hungary. Early life
