14 lug 2023 · Forrest Richardson began designing and building golf courses in his backyard. One of his early creations was Rolling Rocks, a desert layout with natural arroyos and tin can cups. The joy of realizing your childhood dreams doesn’t happen all that often. Forrest is fortunate.
Forrest established his firm in 1988, today known as Forrest Richardson Golf Course Architects. Their work spans the U.S. from Hawaii and Alaska to the Southwest and East Coast. Internationally they have served clients in Mexico, Central America, Canada, India, Asiatic Russia and throughout Europe.
Born in California and based in Arizona, Forrest Richardson has carved out a steady, strong career in golf course architecture. With several original designs and renovations to his credit, he has been particularly influential in shaping the modern golf scenes of California, Arizona and Mexico.
