  6. 3 nov 2023 · William Wolryche-Whitmore died in 1858 leaving Dudmaston to his brother-in-law, the Rev. Francis Laing, vicar of Quatt, who was married to Mary Dorothea, William’s sister. The house was let to an Australian sheep farmer, and it was only in 1864 that it was again occupied by the family.

  7. William Wolryche Whitmore has agreed with William Whitmore to purchase the premises in Quatt for £1,300. Mary Whitmore is now deceased, having made a will dated 19 February 1794, appointing her three daughters, Mary Whitmore, Catherine Whitmore and Dorothy Whitmore executors.
