6 gen 2015 · Cosima Wagner was the daughter of Franz Liszt and the second wife of Richard Wagner, founder of the Bayreuth Festival. She corresponded with Gustav Mahler, who admired her and sought her advice, and visited her in Bayreuth.
Cosima Wagner (1837-1930). Figlia di Franz Liszt e della contessa Marie d’Argoult, nel 1857 sposò in prime nozze il compositore Hans von Bülov, allievo del padre e amico personale di Wagner. Nel 1870 sposò in seconde nozze Wagner, cui diede tre figli e del quale fu preziosa collaboratrice nell’organizzazione del festival di Bayreuth.
