ケン・イシイ （ Ken Ishii 、石井健、 1970年 5月12日 [1] - ）は、 日本 の テクノ ミュージシャン 、 DJ 。 別称は「 東洋のテクノ・ゴッド 」など。 ニックネームはけんちゃん、ケニー。 活動初期から、 東京 の雰囲気を題材とした オリエンタル かつ インテリジェント な作風で知られている。 略歴. 北海道 札幌市 生まれ、 東京都 育ち。 筑波大学附属駒場中学校・高等学校 から 一橋大学社会学部 卒業後、大手広告代理店 電通 に勤務する。
Ken Ishii (ケン・イシイ) is a Japanese DJ and record producer from Sapporo. He graduated from Hitotsubashi University. He has released work under his own name as well as under the pseudonyms FLR, Flare, UTU, Yoga, and Rising Sun. Strongly influenced by Detroit techno, Ishii had his first release on Richie Hawtin's label Plus 8.
