Ludovico I 1419 - 1442 e Ulrico V 1419 - 1442. Il trattato di Nürtingen divise la contea di Württemberg in due parti: Württemberg-Stoccarda con capitale Stoccarda, assegnata a Ulrico V, e Württemberg-Urach con capitale Bad Urach, assegnata a Ludovico I.
Ludovico II di Württemberg-Urach (Waiblingen, 3 aprile 1439 – Urach, 3 novembre 1457) fu conte del Württemberg dal 1450 al 1457. Biografia. Era figlio del conte Ludovico I e di Matilde del Palatinato.
Figlio (Urach 1445 - Tubinga 1496) di Ludovico I di Urach gli succedette nel 1475, ma assunse effettivamente il potere solo più tardi: nel 1482 riunì le due parti del Württemberg (di Urach e di Stoccarda) ed emanò una disposizione con cui garantì l'indivisibilità dello stato e la successione maschile in linea diretta.

A new residence emerges Ludwig I von Württemberg. In the Treaty of Nürtingen, Württemberg was divided between brothers Ludwig I and Ulrich V. Count Ludwig I (1412–1450) received the Urach portion and subsequently decided to expand Urach as his new residence. He elevated Urach Palace to a residential palace.
After the division of the County of Württemberg, by the Treaty of Nürtingen in 1442, he was raised in Urach, capital of the newly created County of Württemberg-Stuttgart. After the early death of his father, Ludwig I, a conflict over his tutelage arose. In the end, the count of Württemberg-Stuttgart, his uncle Ulrich V, won influence.
