Captain Henry Adelbert Wellington FitzRoy Somerset, 9th Duke of Beaufort JP, DL (19 May 1847 – 24 November 1924), styled Earl of Glamorgan until 1853 and Marquess of Worcester between 1853 and 1899, was a British peer.
The Duke of Somerset appears in 3 Henry VI, first as a supporter of the house of York, which coincides with Edward IV's reconciliation with the Beauforts when he took the throne, and then of the house of Lancaster. Somerset decides to desert the Yorkists when the king's own brother Clarence switches his allegiance.
