Basarab V Neagoe ( 1459 – 15 settembre 1521) fu voivoda ( principe) di Valacchia dal 1512 fino alla sua morte. Appartenente al potente clan di boiari dei Craiovești, signori d' Oltenia, Neagoe fu il primo voivoda della schiatta.

Nel XVII secolo anche i voivoda della famiglia Craiovești accamparono una discendenza dalla schiatta dei Basarabidi: Basarab V Neagoe, Matei Basarab, Constantin Șerban ecc. Il membro più noto della dinastia è certamente Vlad l'Impalatore ma la storiografia rumena attribuisce notevole importanza anche al nonno, Mircea il Vecchio .
Figlio di Basarab V Neagoe, il primo voivoda della stirpe dei Craiovești che riuscì ad intromettersi nelle contese dinastiche dei Basarabidi (Drăculești e Dănești) per il dominio sulla Valacchia, Teodosio successe al padre al momento della sua morte (15 settembre 1521).
