Baroness Francoise Charlotte Amable d'Aubigne-Maintenon, Duchess of Noailles (5 May 1684 – 6 October 1739) was a French aristocrat, the wife of Adrien Maurice de Noailles, 3rd Duke of Noailles. She was the niece of Françoise d'Aubigné, Madame de Maintenon, and her heiress.
Madame de Maintenon, née Françoise d'Aubigné ou, plus rarement, d'Aubigny [1], née le 27 novembre 1635 à Niort et morte le 15 avril 1719 à la Maison royale de Saint-Louis à Saint-Cyr, est une dame française des XVII e et XVIII e siècles qui fut l'épouse puis la veuve de Paul Scarron.

Françoise Amable Charlotte d'Aubigné (1684-1739) est la fille de Charles d'Aubigné et la nièce de madame de Maintenon, favorite du roi Louis XIV. Elle épouse Adrien Maurice de Noailles et, à la mort de madame de Maintenon, elle hérite de sa fortune et du château de Maintenon.
Françoise died on 15 April 1719, at the age of 83. Her will expressed her wishes to be buried in the choir at Saint-Cyr and bequeath her Château de Maintenon to her niece, Françoise Charlotte d'Aubigné, Duchess of Noailles and her brother Charles' only daughter.
Biography. Françoise d’Augbigné was born on November 27-28, 1635, allegedly in the prison of Niort in central France. Her father Constant d’Aubigné was a career criminal who had received jail terms for murder, kidnapping, treason, and debt.
