Hans Hass (Vienna, 23 gennaio 1919 – Vienna, 16 giugno 2013) è stato uno zoologo, oceanografo e fotografo austriaco, pioniere nella ripresa e nella fotografia subacquea, biologo e documentarista.
Hans Hass (23 January 1919 – 16 June 2013) was an Austrian biologist and underwater diving pioneer. He was known mainly for being among the first scientists to popularise coral reefs, stingrays, octopuses and sharks. He pioneered the making of documentaries filmed underwater and led the development of a type of rebreather.

26 giu 2013 · The Austrian diving legend and pioneer died June 16 at age 94. A service was held June 22nd at the Hietzing Cemetery in Vienna. Educated in zoology, Hass made a name for himself shooting documentary films of sharks and the oceans, which he championed through his lifetime.
