Robert Geoffrey Edwards (Manchester, 27 settembre 1925 – Cambridge, 10 aprile 2013) è stato un biologo britannico. Pioniere della FIVET, tecnica utilizzata nella procreazione assistita, nel 2010 ha vinto il Premio Nobel per la medicina "per lo sviluppo della fecondazione in vitro".
Sir Robert Geoffrey Edwards CBE FRS MAE (27 September 1925 – 10 April 2013) was a British physiologist and pioneer in reproductive medicine, and in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) in particular.
17 mag 2013 · Robert Geoffrey Edwards was born in 1925 in Yorkshire, England. He attended the University of Wales and then earned a Ph.D. in physiology from the University of Edinburgh in 1955. He joined the University of Cambridge faculty in 1963 where he remained for the rest of his career.
