Christine Angot a remporté le prix Médicis 2021 pour son livre auto-fictionnel «Le Voyage dans l’Est» dans lequel elle revient sur l’inceste dont elle a été victime adolescente. L'auteure a déjà évoqué ce drame à plusieurs reprises dans son oeuvre littéraire, notamment dans «L'Interview» en 1995.
