WIDE WORLD OF MYSTERY (along with the nighttime soap opera THE EDGE OF NIGHT, and many newscasts, sports programs, and game shows) fell victim to a mass inventory purge at ABC in 1978 which resulted in the network wiping a large number of broadcast tapes in order to reuse them.
A middle-aged American businessman and his wife travel to London for a second honeymoon. But soon after arriving, the businessman begins to have deja vu experiences revolving around certain places in London and a woman named Theresa.
Police lieutenant Danny Ianello and insurance investigator Susan Browning become involved in the mystery surrounding the apparent suicide of wealthy Allen Harper. Their investigation uncovers a flamboyant blackmailer, drug addiction, and possibly murder.
