  7. 14 ott 2020 · Oxford’s first women’s higher education institution was named Lady Margaret Hall (after Lady Margaret Beaufort) and its first Principal was Elizabeth Wordsworth. While LMH was founded in 1878, it opened in October 1879 in Norham Gardens with just nine students.
