Maurice Tillieux (7 August 1921 – 2 February 1978) was a Belgian writer and comic artist. He is regarded by many as a major figure of post-war Belgian comics.
The Belgian comic creator Maurice Tillieux was a master of the detective story, and his signature creations 'Félix' (1949-1956) and 'Gil Jourdan' (1955-1978) set the standard for many other series in the genre.
