Isaac Leyb Peretz (in yiddish יצחק־לייבוש פרץ ?, Yitskhok Leybush Perets; in polacco Icchok Lejbusz Perec; Zamość, 18 maggio 1852 – Varsavia, 3 aprile 1915) è stato uno scrittore polacco autore di racconti brevi e drammi in lingua yiddish.
Scrittore e poeta ebreo polacco (Zamość 1852 - Varsavia 1915). Considerato il padre della letteratura yiddish moderna, P. diede un notevole contributo anche alla letteratura ebraica, adattandovi differenti correnti letterarie europee (naturalismo, neoromantiscismo, simbolismo).
Isacco Leib Peretz, scrittore ebreo polacco, (1852-1915). Attivo partecipante ai lavori della Comuni tà Ebraica di Varsavia, di cui fu segretario fi no alla morte, dedicò la sua attività culturale ai temi dell’e braismo, in particolare al chassidismo.
